Terms of Service
Effective 2 October 2026.
BetDesk is an Australian business, called "we" and "us" here. These terms are the agreement between you and us for using BetDesk. By creating an account you agree to them and to the Privacy Policy.
1. Adults only
You must be 18 or older to create an account or use BetDesk. You give your date of birth when you sign up. If we learn an account belongs to someone under 18, we close it.
2. What BetDesk is
BetDesk is an information tool. It collects prematch prices from bookmakers, compares them, and points out arbs, middles, low holds, value bets and bonus conversions. It also lets you keep a record of bets you placed elsewhere.
- BetDesk is not a bookmaker. We take no bets, hold no money for you, and pay no winnings.
- Every bet you place is placed with a bookmaker, under an agreement between you and that bookmaker. We are not a party to it.
- BetDesk does not place bets for you and does not have access to your bookmaker accounts.
- Nothing on BetDesk is betting, financial or professional advice. Stakes and returns are arithmetic on the prices shown, for you to check and decide on.
3. No promise of profit
Betting can lose money, including on bets BetDesk lists as an arb. We do not promise any profit or result. In particular:
- Prices move. A price can change or disappear between the time we read it and the time you reach the bookmaker. Every price shows its age. Check the price at the bookmaker before you bet.
- Prices can be wrong. We read prices automatically from each bookmaker. A price, a market or a match between two bookmakers' markets can be wrong, late or missing. The flags we show ("Suspect price", "Unverified", "Void risk", "Moved", "Not checked") are our best reading, not a guarantee.
- Bookmakers can void, limit or close. A bookmaker may void a bet (for example as an obvious pricing error), settle a market by different rules from another bookmaker, cap your stake, or limit or close your account. If one leg is voided or cannot be placed, the other legs still stand and can lose.
- A stated return assumes every leg stands at the odds and stakes shown.
- Settlement in My bets is a record, not a ruling. Results we fill in automatically can be wrong or missing. The bookmaker's own settlement is what counts.
Some plans show prices from PS3838 (Pinnacle) for comparison. PS3838 is not licensed in Australia. We show its prices as a reference point only, not as an invitation to bet there.
4. Your responsibilities
- Your bets are your decisions. You are responsible for every bet you place and for any loss.
- You are responsible for following each bookmaker's terms. Some bookmakers restrict or prohibit arbitrage, bonus conversion or the use of comparison tools, and may limit or close accounts that do it. Read their terms.
- You are responsible for making sure betting, and using a tool like this, is legal where you are. BetDesk is made for people in Australia.
- Keep your password to yourself and tell us if you think someone else has used your account.
- Give us a real email address that you control. We use it to confirm your account and reset your password.
5. Gambling help
Bet only what you can afford to lose. If gambling is a problem for you or someone close to you:
- Gambling Help Online gives free, confidential support at any hour: call 1800 858 858 or visit gamblinghelponline.org.au.
- BetStop, the National Self-Exclusion Register, is a free Australian Government service that blocks you from all licensed Australian online and phone bookmakers, for three months or longer: betstop.gov.au.
BetDesk does not check BetStop, because it takes no bets. If you have excluded yourself, or want a break, you can stop using BetDesk and delete your account in Settings at any time.
6. Plans and payment
Plans. BetDesk has three paid plans: Starter, Pro and Sharp. What each includes, and its price, is on the pricing page. Each plan can be paid monthly or yearly. There is no free trial.
Billing. Prices are in Australian dollars and include GST where it applies. Payment is taken by Stripe on a checkout page that Stripe hosts. Your card details go to Stripe and never reach BetDesk. You pay in advance for each month or year.
Renewal. A subscription renews automatically at the end of each month or year, at the price then current, until you cancel. We say so at checkout. For a yearly plan we email a reminder before it renews.
Cancelling. You can cancel at any time in Settings. Cancelling stops the next renewal. You keep your plan until the end of the period you have paid for.
Changing plan. You can move to another plan at any time. The pricing page or the checkout says what you pay when you do.
Refunds. We do not give refunds for a change of mind: if you cancel, your plan runs to the end of the period you have paid for and does not renew. That does not limit your rights under the Australian Consumer Law: if BetDesk has a major failure, or a failure we do not fix in a reasonable time, you are entitled to cancel and to a refund for the part of the service you paid for and did not receive.
Price changes. If we change a plan's price, we tell you by email at least 30 days before the new price applies to you. It applies from your next renewal, never in the middle of a period you have paid for. You can cancel before then.
Failed payments. If a renewal payment fails, we may try again and then end the plan. Your account, settings and bets stay.
7. Acceptable use
Your account is for you alone, for your own betting. You must not:
- share your account or password, or let anyone else use your account;
- copy BetDesk's data by automated means: no scraping, bots, scripts or other tools that read the site or its API other than through a normal browser;
- resell, republish or pass on BetDesk's prices, opportunities or other data, or use them to build or feed another product or service;
- get around plan limits, request limits or any other technical control, or use more than your plan includes;
- probe, disrupt or overload the service, or try to reach other people's data;
- use BetDesk for anything unlawful.
BetDesk limits how fast one account can make requests. Requests over the limit are refused.
8. Your content and ours
The bets, notes and settings you enter are yours. You give us permission to store and process them so we can show them back to you and work out your figures. How we handle them is in the Privacy Policy.
BetDesk's software, design, and the matched and processed data it shows belong to us or to those we license them from. You may use them through the site for your own betting. The names of bookmakers belong to their owners; BetDesk is not affiliated with or endorsed by any bookmaker.
9. Availability, suspension and closing
Availability. We aim to keep BetDesk running and its prices current, and we will provide it with due care and skill. We do not promise that it will be uninterrupted or that every bookmaker or market will always be covered. A bookmaker may change or block its feed, and we may add or remove bookmakers, sports, markets and tools. When prices may be behind, the app says so.
You can leave at any time. Cancel your plan or delete your account in Settings.
We can suspend or close an account that breaks these terms in a serious way (for example scraping, reselling, sharing an account, or being under 18) or where the law requires it. Where it is reasonable we tell you first and give you a chance to put it right. If we close an account for a serious breach, no refund is owed for the current period, except where the Australian Consumer Law gives you one.
If we close BetDesk, or your account for any other reason, we give you reasonable notice and refund the part of any period you have paid for and not used.
10. Liability
Your consumer rights come first. Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or changes any guarantee, right or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law or any other law that cannot be excluded by agreement. That includes the guarantees that services are provided with due care and skill and are fit for their stated purpose.
Subject to that, and as far as the law allows:
- we are not liable for betting losses, lost winnings, voided or limited bets, or anything a bookmaker does or fails to do;
- we are not liable for loss caused by a price, match, flag, stake or result on BetDesk being wrong, late or missing, where we provided the service with due care and skill;
- we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or loss of profit or opportunity;
- our total liability to you for everything connected with BetDesk is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose.
We are liable for loss to the extent we caused it by our own negligence, fraud or breach of these terms, within the limits above where the law permits those limits.
11. Changes to these terms
We may change these terms, for example when the product, the law or our plans change. We post the new terms here with a new date. If a change matters to you (for example to price, billing, or what you may do), we email you at least 30 days before it takes effect. If you do not accept a change, you can cancel before it takes effect and we refund the part of any period you have paid for and not used. Continuing to use BetDesk after a change takes effect means you accept it.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of Victoria, Australia. The courts there, and courts that hear appeals from them, deal with any dispute. This does not take away any right you have to bring a claim elsewhere under the Australian Consumer Law.
13. General
If part of these terms is found to be invalid, the rest still applies. If we do not enforce a term at one time, we can still enforce it later. You may not transfer your account to anyone else. We may transfer BetDesk and these terms to another business that takes over the service, and will tell you if we do; you can cancel if you do not want to continue.
